It is a very long, long time that I don't open my blog.But here I am; writing my blog once again!
Let me start with something cool. Me and my class are doing a topic about Argumentative essay and such. We study about arguments and write a sample argumentative speech then proceed to make an essay. Ms. Hoddinott asked us to make an argumentative essay about the fatal car accident happened in Jakarta.
There are four criteria with the maximum score is 4 each. So the total score will be 24. I was expecting to get +20 but unfortunately I got below it. Well, it's close enough with my expectation. This is because I was lack in putting evidence to support my argument. I actually have the evidence during my research but I did not put it into my essay. Also, my grammars and the use of words are not good (but I'm not sure if this affect one of the criteria).
Aside from the scores and other wishy-washy things happened on my essay, I quiet enjoy my score. Maybe later in the future, I'll try to add things to my essay and cover my old mistakes on my previous essays. I would like to add evidence more to my essay, maybe it could help my scores!
Also, last week, me and my class had a in-class debate about globalization! I was in the pro side during that time. It was a very intense debate but I manage to give all my best to my argument and of course: OBJECTIONS!
The total score of the criteria is 24 and I did not expect to get the maximum score!
Later in the future, I would like to add more arguments, evidence and such when I'm debating, so I could make the opposing team to be nervous, confuse and get "torn" apart :D
Anyways, that's all from me today.
